We offer premier offshore trips on our offshore vessel the "India Marie" with just six anglers aboard. These are all full day trips, we recommend a full 10 hour day as it takes an average of two hours to reach the fishing grounds. The "India Marie" is a very safe and stable vessel, and she's nicely equipped to safely travel up to 25 miles offshore. We strive to catch large ground fish; cod, haddock, pollock, wolfish, cusk and hake. We also enjoy and are federally licensed and equipped to target various species of shark, and Blue fin tuna upon request.
The"Gath IV"
Gath IV is a newly retrofitted, pristine conditioned, USCG inspected vessel certified to carry a maximum of 12 passengers. She will provide many new options for our guest's family fishing adventures. My dream is that she will continue to keep fishing personable and affordable, so that our many returning families can continue to enjoy that special day with us each season.
The "Gath III"
A nice example of one of the few remaining (50 Plus year old) wooden boats once built by master craftsman in down east Maine. I've seen lines of a similar style in the state boat museum in Bath, but I've never seen another currently operating vessel with the fine workmanship that was put into Aggie. I'm thrilled to be involved in keeping her a viable and active member of New England's fishing fleet. We were just blessed that a few exceptional Maine boat builders recognized her as worthy when my sons and I began working on her 14 years ago. The expert knowledge of "York Counties premier boat builder" Dave Pease and the fine craftsmanship skills of Keith McAvoy (Kennebunk) make it possible for my boys and I to offer you "the adventure" of fishing on the Gath III.
